Saw Parry's film yesterday with my mom.
It was called FIRST DAUGHTER with Katie Holmes and Michael Keaton. I walked into the theater about 5 minutes early and...we were the only ones there 
. I've never been to a movie theater when there was nobody there. It was kinda cool because we got to choose the best seats in the house and I got to talk real loud until someone came.
Honestly, the movie wasn't that bad. I thought it wasn't going to be very good. The one bad thing about PG movies is that all the previews are for that target audience. So I'm watching animated movie previews and such. I think I saw 4 Christmas movie previews
Eventually I saw a old Chinese couple show up. I asked my mom "Are they here to watch Parry too?" Maybe they were relatives we never knew. [You know how they all pop up when Parry's in a movie. ha ha 
]. 
* Am I getting more mature lately? Saturday night, I passed up a chance to go to Hooters and watch some college football and instead decided to go to an outdoor venue for some nice cold beer. And they said I acted young for my age!

We must be related cause I always "pop" up and out to the theatre to support your brother's films. Even the ones when he isn't on camera and has one line like Spiderman 2 and The Day After Tomorrow. Just doing my part to contribute to the $4 mill First Daughter made this weekend and support the Shen family !!! HAHA !

Yayyy Parry's in another movie! *ahem...calm* I didn't hear the fat lady sing cuz of your low key but "classy"(hey, what beats a cold beer anyhow?) weekend outing.

hahha! only two people... ok sorry that's a little funny... well i looked into a theater once and there was no one in there but the movie was still showing...
and those were my exact thoughts when i saw the sunset... crazy! sick? huh? how? why?
and i guess men can grow up... usually they say guys mature at the age of 30 or when they get married... i guess you're just ahead of the pack.

i actually wanted to watch first daughter... ebert&ropert gives it two thumbs down... which is sad. I think it looks like an okay movie. Im gonna watch it when i have the chance.
Hey! When I heard the guitar riff, I said, "That's Ken Oak!!! I'm singing along as we speak. Yeah, "First D" wasn't as bad as I thought--there were a lot of little girls at my screening.
Jeez, I think the only film I've seen with Parry was "The New Kid". Hmm, maybe you could do a "Parry Shen Film Critique" sometime - tip us off to the goods. -- Here's a new beer drinking method for you... Get on bikes/rollerblades, bust your ass around a park somewhere, and roll up to your local neighborhood pub. That was my evening, and it was damn fine. J>
i thought the movie was sooo cheesy, but it made it funny. i just couldn't believe they were serious, like the whole narration at the end was classic. "the cherry blossoms will be blooming...... and james will be there!" I was opposite of you though, I expected a really good movie, so perhaps there lies my dissapointment. hahaha actually i told my friends to buy tickets online b/c it would be sold out. When we got there, there were like... 6 ppl in the theatre.
you know, u never answered my question about whether or not theres really no AC in new york schools.....
eww. hooters. =P what is up with those white socks they gotta wear? and gosh, cold cold beer. i miss it. beer never gets deliciously icy cold in dinky mini fridges =(
there has been so many first daughter movies... = It made me not want to see it

I was told that they have GREAT wings at Hooters...I think they may have mixed that up with BREASTS.
