Well, we got the raise and its at 15%.
Not too shabby. There's of course that fine print that goes along with it but it doesn't affect me THAT much.
-- I stay way over the 10 minutes a day anyway so that extra time really doesn't affect me.
- The three less days of holiday kinda blows but its worth the extra 5g.
- The contract is good for 4 years and it expires Oct. 2007. Not bad. So in another 2 years, I can expect another raise!
As for another note, baseball season is over. My beloved Mets are out of the playoffs but NY fans saw a couple of bright spots. They are:
1. 3B David Wright and 2. SS Jose Reyes

ok, i have NOOO idea what you're talking about with baseball.You should watch at least one episode. I think it's totally great. Well, not as funny as the years before. But it's still great.

had a harsh lose to Maximum Output Warriors. the game before that while playin the renegades, some dude elbowed me in the rib and i was done for. so against MO, they smacked us in the semi's by 10+ i think. tough lose, but we had a good run being the smallest team there.

Congrats on the raise!! It seems that fewer employers are working hard to retain valuable employees these days. As for baseball it all goes over my head. =) It's all about hockey over here in Canada.

Cheers on the raise! My friend teaches at Legacy School for Integrated Studies through the NY Fellows program...I'm sure there are only like 5 schools in the city, right? (*wink*) You never know though...the world is much smaller than I ever imagined.
i forgot NY had 2 baseball teams... cuz the mets suck soo much..i shouldnt even be talkin... but hey congrats on the raise... wish i had a job..id be happy with 15%

i just saw yer comment about lovers key....so i'ma ryc now. i apologize for that, my dear. omg yes! lover's key is truly a real place! who knew, right?! it's nice and all, but it's a beach. i see no difference in the water or the sand but there's gotta be a reason why it is so damned expensive to marry there. it must be a "designer label" reason. people don't pay for the beauty, they pay for the "lover's key" name. suckers. lol
