Just checking out the Democratic Convention on PBS.  Having a hard time deciding who to vote for?  Well, I stumbled upon this website.  Perhaps this may help you make an informed decision.  Check it out:  http://www.jibjab.com/.   [yo, its mad funny]

  • Oh hey that link doesn't work, here's the clip of "This Land" with Bush and Kerry at http://www.jibjab.com/.

  • Cool.  I already knew who I was voting for.  Kerry all the way!!!

  • madd funny. ack... i just realized you wrote that "yo, its mad funny" but that's what came to mind.

  • voting for who? we have no choice... lol

  • and also, i wish i could sleep thru the night but naps are killers!

  • A friend sent me the "This Land" piece the other day and I was cracking up.  Another Met fan?  Nice!  We are a rare find...  As nasty as the 7 is, I have to say that is the most on-time subway train I've taken...nothing slows down the red bullet...none of these track fires or other stuff...

  • *wave* yup and thanx to you for visiting. *grin* i guess my xanga is a bit meh with silly, daily stuff and odd rants. the alias thing is suppose to protect the people i know though.. except i'm not that great at making up nicknames. bleh.

you can become an expert stalker.. *grin* with the way you bump into random yet well-known people.

i don't actually put up poetry on my xanga. i think i only put one up.. once but that was to get the opinion of others before i sent it in for some poetry contest. i did it for the fun of it but was seriously trying to get an idea in the "writing" world... and it was something my Creative Writing teacher suggested. i actually got picked but because i didn't mail back the response form or something by the deadline they gave me, i didn't get my poetry published. meh. it's all good. once in a while, i try to put together a short story but i tend to be a scatter-brain and my mind wanders. a lot. *blush* oh well... i'm more into readingother people work and writing in my journal.. like a pen-and-paper one... having only an online blog doesn't appeal the same way as one with pen and paper.

    anyways, i'll stop babbling... *wave*

(is this comment too long? *blink*)

  • PS - i suck at politic stuff - too much for me to swallow

  • vote bush!! BUSH!! BUSHHHHHHHHHHH!

John Kerry is undecided on EVERYTHING. he says that he believes that life begins at conception yet he still would allow abortion to continue? don't vote Kerry. :(

"John Kerry's ridiculous claim to hold conservative values and his willingness to change his beliefs to fit his audience betrays a startling lack of conviction on important issues like abortion that will make it difficult for voters to give him their trust," said Steve Schmidt, a Bush campaign spokesman.

... and don't let the anti-Bush propaganda scare you.

Good luck.. choose whoever you feel is the right person to lead our country.....  :)

  • Well, that was one of my more interesting entries. I tend just to post pictures and short stories, but that day had to be written out in full form for the public. I had to gloat. i know, it sounds weird to you.

Yeah, it probably was Charles spinning at Bob's. He spins there sometimes. He also hangs out there quite often so if the Djs want a break, he somtimes just hops on the turn tables. Dj Krazie Charles~!

btw, what school do you counsel in. I taking a wild guess it's in Manhattan somewhere by the 6 train... Just a hunch.

  • Ding ding ding ding ding...you are correct!  Haha, that Barbie House was kinda fun (only b/c I made a pig nose on the window...my friends were embarassed to be with me.  Haha)  Anyway, I think I'll probably end up moving to Hawaii sometime next summer, but I really only plan on staying for a few years, after which I will move back to So. Cal, hopefully find a decent job, and eventually get married.  I'm sure things won't go exactly as I plan, but that's life.

Politics are not my forte, so I avoid the topic if possible.  Bad -yes, I know...but if I can't make an informed decision, why screw things up by making an ignorant decision?

  • There will be prostitutes there to help um yeah....

    support the democrats

  • WOW..... YOUR PAGE IS FIRE... I GUESS THATS BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO LIFE! hehez... YO I NEED MY TRANSCRIPT... LOL HIT ME BACK

  • Oh hey Chris made the jukebox on my page, so I'll send you the e-mail he sent me with the instructions. Awesome you're going to have a jukebox too! There are tons of songs you can choose to put in your jukebox from Xanga_Music. Ok gotta get back to work, enjoy!

    = )

  • haha your Bush clip is amusing. The votes seem to still be pretty divided. Though many oppose war, there are many hard-core Conservatives, who are not very open to change. who knows what's going to happen in the 2004 election. Maybe, Palm Beach County (my county ) will screw it up again lol.

  • there is no doubt in my mind if kerry would be elected president we would have a significant change in the way our government works. but, as a lot of people think, anyone is better than bush in the white house.  honestly, i feel the man isn't a bad man, it's the people with whom he grew up with and manipulated him to be the man that we know him as.  one thing's for sure, he's our country's biggest cheerleader.

    mua har har.

i still think nader rocks my socks, but he won't have a chance of being president even if hell froze over twice.
