FISHKILL. Yup, thats the name of the place I stayed the past 2 days. But who knew it
the lake @ 6:30 am squint and u can see deer ~ 7:30 am [couldn't sleep] Co-ed cabins! my principal and teacher
coul be so fun? Our school decided to have an Outward Bound Trip for our staff. Surprisingly, ~85% showed up. Guess they had nothing to do this summer either. It was a lot of fun. The first day we did a bunch of ice breaker stuff and got to meet our new teachers…We all participated in Low Rope courses. Lots of fun. At around 4 pm, although we weren’t really allowed to do so…4 of us jumped into the lake and swam in our underwear….It was maginficently refreshing! The other 3 got in trouble and got kicked out of the lake. The head person didn’t see me though since I was hiding near the dock. At night, we built this huge campfire, had 2 huge bottles of wine [one of them opened by pusing an Oral-B toothbrush down on the cork ( we didn’t bother to ask many people for corkscrews) and drank illegally ( no alcohol on the premises…shhh). Then 8 of us went for a midnight swim. Brrrr…But at least the stars were out. The second day was more fun. We had a High Ropes day. Woo Hoo….

The Flying Squirrel had a bunch of people grab the end of the rope while you run the other way…The result…you end up flying through the air straight up at a fast speed….
The trip was amazing…Be a teacher!! All the pictures are due to my new Canon Elph camera! I love it.
Sad thing was I missed Hawaii…the show my friend was on. Took a harmless pit stop to the Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall on the way back….4 hours and getting lost and making strange stops later…I got back at 10 pm. We left camp at 3…oops…Sorry Aya…

wow! all the obstacles look so much fun, but also scary. i think i would chicken out!
omg… where in the world is this place? i remeber doing a ropes course before… it was nuts… i waws to freaked to do the zip line where you go sraight down from that pole you were standing on. crazy!
and baseball can get really boring, i don’t get how my friends can stand sitting through a whole game, just watching it. i find more excitement in the food… GARLIC FRIES! YUMMMMM!
ohhh and i live in San Francisco… they changed the channels on us… so NBC split into NBC, MSNBC, and blah blah, so you need MSNBC to get the olympics, Friends, Will and Grace…. and without cable you’re stuck with stupid tv.

Must have been fun. I like the ropes course, those are always fun. Anyway, I met two new teachers at the end of the school year, but I don’t know if they were coming to SOF. I’m coming back on Thanksgiving, as well as David, Peter, and Amy… so maybe we can all visit.

I try and watch the Daily Show whenever I can…it’s friggin hilarious! It’s my way of getting the news…lol.
haha “be a teacher!” yes, seems like another reason to move in that direction. yo, in the picture titled “sweet” you resemble some sort of action figure. woodbury! i always used to make a pit stop there on my way home from binghamton when i was student. i’m headed there on monday!
i feel like shit… and im too lazy to go to the hospital… i wanna free counselor for once…

ahahaha….ropes courses are soooo fun!!! although i fell losing my balance it’s always a rush looking down…. poop pole huh?…we called it the leap of faith…hehe….i never made it to the top tho…was too sore from previous activities…but zip line was prolly the funnest….although it took me a good 5 minutes to find the guts to step off…ok ok…i had to be pushed off…haha…laters…

I just noticed on those pictures, I actually have been to the same ropes course last year. It was mad fun even though I was scared of heights.
Woah…that looks like too much fun. Drinking and swimming in your underwear sounds like something I’d do…Oh yeah, I DID do that not too long ago. Was walking down the beach, drunk, with some friends when some this Asian couple stop and start talking to us…Next thing I know the girl is daring me to run in the water with her and yanks my pants down around my ankles exposing my butt to the world…And the next thing I remember…they are about 6 people running around in their underwear in the freezing cold surf. Moral of the story: No drinking near water.
