"APPARENTLY, FEAR IS NOT A FACTOR FOR YOU."
. Well, it was for me. Fear Factor had their 100th episode and it was held in NYC. Besides being known as the greatest city on Earth, we're also know for our BIG and EXTRAVAGANT... Rats. . Gross stuff. So my biggest fear came true Monday night. They made the contestants eat...RAT STEW. That sh*t
was awful! They took a dead rat, and some liquidy rat juices and put it in a blender and...mixed it all up! That's like my worst nightmare coming true. Needless to say, I would've lost easily. There was a time when I thought I could win...
So a few years ago, I tried out for FEAR FACTOR. I was selected by the Health Club I worked at. They asked the GM to choose 5 employees that they felt would "look" the part. So we were asked to go. I was real excited. I met a couple of my friends "the chosen ones" and we took a cab to Webster Hall [Audition Place]. We were asked to bring a photo of ourselves. Both my friends had these huge black binders with them.
Me: "Hey! Can I see the binders?"
Inside were... a portfolio of all their... Headshots!. They all had like 20 pictures each! It was so crazy! What did I have you ask? Here let me give you an idea:

Yeah. Out of my league. Ha Ha.
Whatever. We had 11 minutes to impress 1 judge. Except there were 12 of us. Long story short, they wanted answers to questions like :
"What would you do with the money?"
Preferred answer: "I WOULD RUB THE MONEY IN YOUR FACE BECAUSE I WILL KICK EVERYONE'S ASS!"
My answer: "Probably save and invest and do a little shopping. "
Needless to say, I didn't make the cut.

hahaha! i probabaly would have answered like you. I always wanted to go on a reality tv show or game show. One day i will be on the price is right and i'll hear my name, "Leanne Koh, come on down!" OMG! wouldn't that be great! hahah! RATS! gross! OMG! i'd DIE before doing anything with rats or eating them! gross!
fear factor is nuts I would never do what those people on that show do just for money it's not worth it.

aww too bad you didn't make it to fear factor, but yea its gotten worse. ewww. i could never go to fear factor. lol i'd just go on the show, not even do the first stunt, just walk away. lol.

haha...sharing my first experience of watching fear factor..I had just finished eating dinner and was out in the living room channel surfing until i saw fear factor, and lo and behold ...a girl eating buffalo testes and ppl drinking worm martinis..needless to say, I emptied out my stomach 2 seconds later..
the ground up rat is my worst nightmare. mice, rats, biggest all time fear. how was bing, when i went up there last weekend, forgot how glum it can look up there.

You had more guts than I...I watch the show all the time. I love watching, but I could never participate! Love watching other people suffer through eating intestines, testicles, live bugs, etc..but could never do it myself!! YUCK!! Pretty nice pic!

OMG, rat stew, yum. I ACTUALLY ATE RAT IN VIETNAM BEFORE. i was 4 and my family told me it was chicken. supposedly these rats were "raised on a farm and fed grain, not the kind you catch in sewers." RROOIITTEE.

rats... mad gross... never knew fear factor would go dat far... i mean i understand pureed bugs and stuff but NYC rats???? mad gross. anyway.. sucks u didnt make it to that show, u probably wouldnt have passed second round... the whole eating bugs thing or emersing urself in bugs or something disgusting is not something you'd probably do... i bet u'll do fine on 1st and 3rd round cuz thats all physical stuff.
