Can you say is a DUMB ASS ignorant b*tch?
If you haven't heard this by now, this DJ from HOT 97 played a song called the "Tsunami Song" all over the airwaves. To sum it up in a nutshell, this song is making a mockeryof what happened in Southeast Asia. You can hear for yourself. Its pretty unbelievable:

Miss Info, one of the DJ's of the morning show, who is of Chinese descent disagreed with the song but had to argue with these two dumbasses:
Todd Lynn and Miss Jones, who were abusive towards Miss Info and her opinions and claimed they should "start shooting asians".

HOT97 regrets the airing of material that made light of a serious and tragic event. We apologize to our listeners and anyone who was offended.
Both HOT97's program director and Miss Jones issued on-air apologies on Monday stating that the material was offensive and should not have been aired.
HOT97 takes pride in its community involvement and in the last few weeks has joined with broadcasters nationwide to raise money for victims of the Tsunami. Our relief effort will result in a substantial cash donation.

that song was sooo wrong. i signed the petition definitely, i believe in freedom of speech and all, but that was seriously screwed up and ignorant. i don't understand how people could make fun of a tragedy like that.

i seriously think that a way of punishment is to send their sorry asses over to areas hit by the tsunami to see how much devastation and loss people have suffered. then we'll see if they have the nerve to tell one of those orphaned kids that they saw their mom floating by with a tree in her head and that they'll end up in child slavery! who has the nerve to even think that is remotely funny?!?! no one made a parody of people jumping off buildings during 9/11---why? probably because these ignorant fools were affected by it, wheareas the tsunami affected only chinks in some far distant land. please keep me posted on what happens since i dont live in NY. thanks!!

I stumbled upon this site. I am all for light hearted jokes on people. I am Asian and I do laugh at some jokes, but when you say you should "start shooting" a certain group, can we say Holocaust?? And how come it's ok for them to have their jokes about other races (i.e. White, Asian), but the moment someone says ANYTHING about a black person everything changes and the race card is pulled??? I'm not racist because I love everyone who has a heart, but it urks me to hear hypocrites talk like this. I mean what happened if the Tsunami happened in Africa (which partially did) but what happened if it wiped out as many people as it did in Asia? Do you think they would come and help? Or if someone said maybe we should shoot them all, It would be a different story. that person would definitely get fired. i think we baby them too much and watch what we say about them too much. He got fired from Hot 97 as well because when Aaliyah died he was making jokes about it. I thought miss Jones was better then that I guess I was wrong. People have no heart these days.
